Richard M. Harden, President/Chief Executive Officer
Rick Harden has been a key contributor in the telecommunications industry for over 30 years, and is a highly respected wireless industry pioneer and innovator. His accomplishments include the successful design, deployment and operation of one of the first wireless broadband networks in North Carolina (funded by North Carolina's Rural Internet Access Authority), utilizing both licensed and license-exempt spectrum. Prior to forming his private consulting practice, he was President/Chief Operating Officer of San Diego-based Littlefeet, an international wireless infrastructure technology design and manufacturing company. As a member of Littlefeet's executive team, he assisted in raising over $40 million in venture financing, and successfully guided the company from proof-of-concept to the first commercial product release.
Previously, Mr. Harden served as Vice President/Chief Technical Officer for Airadigm Communications, the first "C" block PCS carrier to launch service in the U.S. Prior to this, he held various progressive technical and operational management positions with Powertel (now T-Mobile), BellSouth Mobility PCS (now Cingular), Sprint, GTE (now Verizon) and McCaw Cellular (now AT&T Wireless.) Rick was instrumental in the development, deployment and management of many of the first cellular (AMPS) networks in the United States in the 1980s, and two of the largest regional GSM PCS-1900 networks in the 1990s. In addition to his domestic wireline and wireless telecommunications accomplishments, he has been directly involved as a subject matter expert in numerous international wireless projects including the successful awarding of the second cellular network for South Korea and PCS networks in South America and the Caribbean. In 1996, he was named the first chairman of the Nortel GSM PCS-1900 Users Group, and has participated in the Chief Technical Officer committee with the GSM-North American Alliance. Mr. Harden began his professional telecom career on the Outer Banks in 1978 with Norfolk-Carolina Telephone and Telegraph Company (now Sprint.)
Prior to 1978, he had a distinguished career in the broadcasting and print media fields. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Ottawa University with a BA in Business Administration. Mr. Harden also holds current Low Voltage Electrical Contractor Licenses in the states of Georgia and North Carolina, and has held a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) General (formerly First-Class) Radiotelephone Operators License since 1976.
Mr. Harden is a birthright member of the Nansemond Indian Tribe.

James G. Harden, Vice President/CTO
James (Gary) Harden has over 25 years experience in the design, implementation and management of large-scale Information Technology (IT) projects. His accomplishments include the successful design and implementation of ISP services for one of the first wireless broadband networks in North Carolina.
Mr. Harden is currently Head of Information Technology Services for the Health Sciences Library at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The UNC Health Sciences Library is an internationally renowned medical library providing state of the art technology services to students, faculty and clinical practitioners.
Previously, as senior programmer of the AIS UNIX Systems Programming Group at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he was responsible for the design, implementation and management of a secure web application cluster, as well as the management of a complex server farm comprised of over forty computer systems providing critical business services.
Mr. Harden served as Director of Network Operations for the State Library of North Carolina where he was instrumental in developing the North Carolina Information Network, a consortium of over 400 academic, corporate and public libraries. He designed and managed full ISP services as well as provided support and consulting services for consortium members. During his tenure at the State Library, he edited the peer-reviewed NCLA Journal and wrote a monthly technology column for consortium members.
Mr. Harden holds a B.A. degree from Concord University and an M.L.S. degree (summa cum laude) from North Carolina Central University. He acquired the foundation of his telecommunications expertise with Norfolk-Carolina Telephone and Telegraph Company (now Sprint) on the Outer Banks in the 1970s.

Margaret D. Harden, Secretary/Treasurer
Meg Harden has had a progressive career in the accounting, insurance, retail marketing and library science fields. She spent seven years as a licensed property and casualty insurance agent for personal and commercial lines, with one of the largest independent insurance agencies on the Outer Banks.
Ms. Harden holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Northern Michigan University (magna cum laude), as well as an Accounting Assistant Technical Diploma from Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Robert M. Harden, Installation/Field Operations Manager
Max Harden is an Outer Banks native with a multi-faceted background in retail/commercial services and wireless telecommunications consulting. His accomplishments include providing strategic asset management over a four state area for one of the largest Sprint PCS affiliates, and providing key on-site consulting services for T-Mobile’s deployment of location-based services. Max attended the University of Wisconsin and completed his undergraduate degree in Geography at Utah State University. Mr. Harden is a birthright member of the Nansemond Indian Tribe.

E. Lynne Harden, Customer Services Manager
Lynne Harden is also an Outer Banks native with extensive experience in
retail services. She has received numerous academic and civic
awards/recognition for her participation in domestic and international
initiatives. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill with a bachelor's degree in Geology and Marine Science, and
is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of California - Santa Cruz. Ms. Harden is a birthright member of the Nansemond Indian
Tribe.
